About LARPBO:
A community built for better lives together.

Since 2011, Los Angeles Responsible Pit Bull Owners has brought people together around a simple belief: every dog and every owner deserve respect, support and a real chance to thrive.

How it began

What started with a few owners became a citywide support network.

LARPBO took root when a group of Los Angeles pit bull owners came together to create a place where dogs and their people could flourish. Education, advocacy and accessible training were at the heart of it from day one.

Over time, that commitment grew into a welcoming community where breed stereotypes are challenged through the everyday work of responsible ownership, practical learning and encouragement.

Our Mission

Keep dogs in homes and out of shelters.

We help make that possible through connection, learning and positive change. From introductory obedience and advanced classes to pack walks and community meet-ups, each programme gives people useful tools and a place to keep growing.

Los Angeles, together

Different dogs. Different starting points. One shared purpose.

LARPBO reflects the energy and diversity of Los Angeles. Members come together to create stronger families, better-trained dogs and a more compassionate community for all.
