Community Pack Walks

Walk together. Learn in the real world.

Free pack walks offer controlled exposure to the busy, interesting places dogs encounter every day.

Dogs walk with space between them. That gives handlers room to practice engagement, neutrality and thoughtful handling around people, wildlife and other dogs.

LARPBO offers pack walks all across Los Angeles - find one near you!

What to expect

More than a walk.

Expect real-world distractions, a supportive community and clear guidelines that keep the experience safer for every dog.

LARPBO PACK WALK GUIDELINES:

  • All dogs must be on a secure collar and leash. Dogs using e-collars must also be on a leash. Prong collars should be backed up with a carabiner. Short leashes are recommended (less than 6 feet). Retractable leashes and harnesses are not allowed as they provide little control.

  • PLEASE NO NOSE-TO-NOSE CONTACT (dog to dog that is). Always maintain a six-foot distance between dogs. There should be no dog-on-dog interaction.

  • Please bring doggie poo bags.

  • Make sure you bring water for you and your dog.

  • One dog per handler. No exceptions!

  • Share the road. Move to the right to let others pass.
